Reproducing the physical experience in digital space

Homepage Hero was designed to reproduce how it feels to visit the archive, where the Fugitive often pulls from the archive for particular visitors laying out archival material on tables. Similar to a real world experience, the items do not automatically have contextual information available allowing the user to experience the item visually without directing their attention in a specific way.
